The Aquarium Water Filter Set removes chlorine, chloramine, iron, manganese, and sediment from aquarium water. The filter set contains a 1-micron sediment filter for removing dirt and debris, a .5 micron carbon block for eliminating odors and discoloration, a DI color-changing resin cartridge helping purify the water further, and a membrane cartridge/housing.

It is recommended to replace filters every year.
It is recommended to replace membranes every 3 years.
